1. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Collection in Cape Town Only: Should you wish to collect your order we will contact you once your order has been processed to arrange a suitable time.

South African Orders: Authentic Activewear uses a local courier for shipping in South Africa. Please allow 3-4 working days for delivery. Notification via email will be sent on completion of your order along with a tracking number. A signature will be required on delivery. If your parcel is returned to us if unable to deliver a new delivery fee will be charged to redeliver.

International Orders: Please note that we make use of the South African Post Office to send international orders and they can take up to 2-3 weeks. All items are sent via registered airmail and include a tracking number which will be emailed to you on completion of your order. Please provide a daytime delivery address such as a work address, as they require a signature on delivery. If your parcel is returned to us for whatever reason, a new delivery fee will be charged to redeliver it.

Shipping Costs: The cost to deliver within Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg and surrounding areas is R100. Anywhere else in South Africa is R125. 
For international orders please contact us before placing your order to discuss the delivery charges for your country.

Customs and Imports: You may be liable for any customs and import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. These charges must be paid by the recipient. Customs policies vary widely from state to state and country to country. Therefore we suggest that you check the requirements in your country before placing an order. We will not be liable for any custom or import duties.

1.1 What are your shipping time frames? After payment has been received, your order will be dispatched within 2 - 3 working days depending on the contents of your order, your delivery location and chosen shipping method.

1.2 Can I get same day delivery? Same-day deliveries are currently not available but if you are in a hurry please contact us to discuss the options.

1.3 Do you ship internationally? Yes we do. Please send us a mail before you place your order and we'll try to find the best shipping option for you.

1.4 Can I collect my order if I live in Cape Town? Yes, you can choose to collect your order. Once the order has been processed, we will contact you to arrange a suitable time to collect from our offices in Table View.

1.5 I incorrectly placed my order with incorrect shipping address? If you’ve just finished placing your order, please email us at info@authenticactivewear.co.za and we’ll update the address before the order ships. If more than one day has passed there is a good chance that your item has already been packed and shipped. In either case, please contact us for further assistance so that we can help get your order to you.

1.6 Will I have to sign for my package? For all courier services a signature will be required on delivery.

1.7 What if no one is available to receive the package? We will try to arrange for an alternative delivery option with you, but we reserve the right to charge you an additional delivery fee if we cannot do this and need to deliver at another date and time.

1.8 I placed an order over Christmas weekend or a public holiday. Our shipping carriers observe Christmas Day on the 25th of December. 2. PAYMENT OPTIONS

Authentic Activewear accepts payment using PayFast, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) or Snapscan.
PayFast is a good choice if you are South African, EFT even better. PayFast does require you to register on your first purchase if you have never used it before. Thereafter you need only fill in your password. Please visit their website for more information and for any surcharge fees.

2.1 What forms of payment do you accept? We use PayFast as our payment processing service and accept MasterCard, Visa, EFT’s and Instant EFTs.

2.2 Do you accept credit cards? We use PayFast as our payment processing service and we do accept international credit cards.

2.3 Is it safe to use my debit or credit card on your site? Yes! We understand that the safety of your personal information is extremely important to you and we take all measures to provide a safe and secure online shopping experience. We also respect your privacy and we are committed to protecting your personal data and credit card information from unauthorized access.

2.4 What can cause my order to be delayed? If the billing information you provided does not match what your bank has on file (including address and telephone number), your order may be delayed.

3. RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase for any reason, send an email to info@authenticactivewear.co.za or contact us through the form below to start our easy returns process. You have 14 days after delivery to return or exchange* an item to us in it's original condition. If 14 days have gone by since the delivery of your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you an exchange.

* Please note for all returns and exchanges, please make sure it is returned unworn, in it’s original undamaged packaging and with all original labels attached. Please also ensure you send it with a tracking number and insurance, as an exchange cannot be issued if Authentic Activewear does not receive it.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of your purchase, please include your order or invoice number in the box of the return so that your exchange can be processed. Once your return is received by us, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and process the exchange within 3 - 4 working days.

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that the package is delivered to Authentic Activewear within the returns window provided and at the correct address. Please email info@authenticactivewear.co.za for the return shipping address. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

We will not be able to accept the return of an item under our general returns policy in the following situations:

  • If we receive a returned item later than 14 days after delivery of purchase
  • If the item is not in mint condition and has clearly been tampered with
  • If it is a non-returnable item (e.g. sale items, customized)

3.1 I ordered the wrong item, can I return it? If you discover on receipt of your package that you have ordered the wrong size, material or colour, you are welcome to return it unworn, in its original packaging and with all labels attached to be exchanged for the correct item. The new item you will need to pay the difference if there is one plus the new delivery charges for the item to be shipped. Please note that you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

3. 2 I received the incorrect item: If you discover that the wrong item has been sent to you, (i.e. Authentic Activewear made a mistake), please email us an image of the incorrect item to info@authenticactivewear.co.za within 48 hours of receiving the item. Please return it unworn and in its original packaging and with all labels attached and we will replace it with the correct item. We will arrange a courier to collect the item at our cost and once we’ve received the incorrect item we will send you the correct product at no additional cost to yourself.

3.3 The item was damaged or broken in transit: If the item is broken or damaged during transport, please take a photo of that piece and email it to us and we will replace it for you.

3.4 Can I return sale items?
Unfortunately we don’t exchange sale items. Only regular priced items may be returned or exchanged. Strictly no exchanges will be issued on sale/reduced price orders.

3.5 How long does it take for an exchange?
Provided we have the item in stock that you would like to have replace your returned or exchanged item, we will ship this to you within 3-4 working days from receipt of the incorrect item. Should the item not be in stock will contact you to advise on delivery date as the item will need to be manufactured for you.
